10 Movie Locations That Became Immortalised Thanks To Fans
2. Avengers HQ, Norwich (Marvel Cinematic Universe)
Back to the MCU we go and you knew it would only be a matter of time before the home of Earth's Mightiest Heroes graced this list.
Avengers HQ, was built in upstate New York after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron - where Avengers Tower was destroyed - yet, in actual fact the fictional headquarters wasn't physically situated in New York (or America for that matter) at all.
The location of the new Avengers Compound can be found in East Anglia - of all places - or The Salisbury Centre for Visual Arts, as it is known in that area. Built in 1975, the centre houses art collections and is free to visit for those fans that are desperate to feel like a genuine Avenger.
Of course, a great deal of digital enhancement takes place in order to make the foundations of the site look like the Avengers base, so fans sadly don't get to glance at any time-machines or quinjets lying around the place.
It still inspired a vast amount of interest from those who wanted to immerse themselves in a small piece of the MCU and as long as The Salisbury Centre stays standing, fans will clamber to walk the same halls where Thor, Captain America and Iron Man all discussed what it meant to be 'worthy'.
