5. Dewey vs. A Mug - Scream

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccFq7_xas9Q&t=0m35s David Arquette, for whatever you may think of him, was superbly cast as bumbling cop Dewey, as illustrated brilliantly by this clip, which makes it clear that Arquette is just as big a goofball as the character he's playing. While drinking a hot mug of something, not only does Arquette seem incapable of holding the mug in any way half-resembling normal, but he ends up smashing his teeth on it. The scene should have stayed in the film because it only helps to accentuate how ridiculously goofy Dewey is. Even if we didn't have the chipped-teeth bit, just the awkward way he holds the mug would be an amusing way to demonstrate how backwards the guy's thinking is in every walk of life (and seemingly, so is Arquette's as well).
