10 Movie Moments IMPOSSIBLE To Watch Same Way After This

Galaxy Quest, what a movie. It's well known that the Star Trek-themed comedy was originally shot for an R rating, before being toned down to a PG-13 in post-production.

Still, the DNA of that more risque original cut is all over the movie.

Notably, during the early scene where the central cast are beamed aboard the Thermians' spaceship and probed, female viewers are probably more likely to notice that the probe being prepared for Gwen DeMarco (Sigourney Weaver) is actually a speculum.

For those unaware, a speculum is a medical device used to inspect bodily orifices, most commonly used in gynecological examinations to open up the vagina.

It's incredibly easily missed, especially if you're neither a woman nor a gyno, but makes this scene both more unsettling and more hilarious all at once, especially given Gwen's terrified reaction and presumed knowledge of what's being shoved towards her face.
