10. Reverend. J.C. Current - Bordello Of Blood (1996)
If you want to see a reverend battling vampires then this is the movie for you. Tales from the Crypt Presents: Bordello of Blood features Angie Everheart and Cory Feldman as vampires, Dennis Miller doing his best Dennis Miller impression and Chris Sarandon as the despicable and contemptible Reverend J.C. Current. The film follows a bordello run by evil (as well as extremely hot) vampires, who are led by the Mother of all Vampires, Lilith (played by Everhart). During the first half of the movie J.C. is a God-fearing douche-bag who is in cahoots with Lilith. By the end of the film he finally comes to his senses and realises that he has made a mistake and that the vampires must die (it doesn't matter how hot they are!). Teaming up with Dennis Miller and armed with holy water-filled super-soakers, the reverend dispatches the trampires with extreme prejudice. He finally has something to fight for and you can tell that he's enjoying every minute of it. Bordello Of Blood may not be that great a film - its filled with an enormous amount of vampire movie clichés - but watching this final scene of the movie of a grinning reverend dismembering a bunch of half-naked vampires with holy water is absolutely priceless. Yeah, it's childish and unbelievably comic-bookish, but we loved every minute of it.
