5. Friar Tuck - Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves (1991)
In Kevin Costners rendition of Robin Hood, Mike McShane plays Friar Tuck, one of Robins first victims, who ultimately ends up joining his merry men of bandits. Friar Tuck starts off as a simple and humble man who enjoys a little sacramental wine from time to time, and even schools his comrades the importance of alcoholic beverages, explaining; This is grain, which any fool can eat, but for which the Lord intended a more divine means of consumption. Let us give praise to our maker and glory to his bounty by learning about... BEER. By the end of the film he is just as bad-ass as his merry counterparts, kicking ass with that big-ass stick and taking names. He's still drunk though, naturally. Special shout-out to Mel Brooks as Rabbi Tuckman in the hilarious Robin Hood: Men in Tights. He doesn't kick ass and he doesnt belong on the list, but anytime we can mention Men In Tights and remind you guys to give it a re-watch is always a good thing.
