10 Movie Scenes WAY More Disturbing Than Intended

3. Taking Out The Trash - Child's Play 3

It goes without saying that the Child's Play movies are intended to be disturbing to a point, even if the tone generally veers more towards black comedy than outright horror.

Yet the oft-maligned Child's Play 3 features a kill that's about as funny as, well, a funeral, when Chucky (Brad Dourif) ends up thrown into the back of a trash compactor and, in order to free himself, screams loudly for help.

The garbage man driving the truck then climbs into the back to rescue him, but as he rummages through the bags in search of Chucky, Chucky slyly escapes. And what comes next? Of course, he turns the compactor on, crushing the poor sod to death.

It's without question the cruelest death in the entire Child's Play series - someone going about his day who did nothing to Chucky being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and paying the mortal price.

That director Jack Bender lingers on the man realising he's about to be turned into crimson mulch doesn't make it any easier to watch.
