10 Movie Sequels That Better Happen In 2018
5. Kick-Ass 3
Okay, so this one's probably never happening but we're not ready to give up all hope just yet.
Kickass and its sequel are faithful adaptations of Mark Millar's gritty superhero comedy comic book ,and Hit-Girl is still the coolest thing in a cape, no matter how many heroes DC and Marvel wheel out before us.
The second instalment fared poorly from a critical standpoint, but pulled in a half decent $60.7 million against a budget of $28 million.
As far as the fans are concerned, it would be a shame if the trilogy was never completed on screen, especially when you consider the third chapter of Millar's comic book series was the pick of the bunch.
Hit-Girl herself, Chloe Grace Moretz, has proclaimed the Kick-Ass franchise dead, but lead actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson refuses to write off a third instalment indefinitely.
Unless one is announced within the next 12 months, he may have to, as time will eventually render it impossible for the pair to reprise their roles.
