Bad Boys For Life is the long-mooted third entry in the Bad Boy series, which pairs up Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as freewheeling Miami narcotics detectives.

We've waited 15 years to see the duo in action again and the initial plan was to have those Bad Boys coming for us in their third screen outing in November 2018.

But that was before director Joe Carnahan exited the project to work on the English-language remake of Indonesian action movie The Raid.

Carnahan dropped out in March, and with no replacement director in sight, Bad Boys For Life may as well be a lifetime away.
