10 Movie Spoilers For 2018 That We Already Know

Ryan Coogler's upcoming cinematic incarnation of the Panther has two wonderful trailers under its belt, that do a marvelous job of teasing elements of the film without flat-out giving away plot points. One of the big surprises of the film that was evident in its trailers was just how radical a world Wakanda truly was.

After glimpsing it dowsed in fog at the end of Civil War, seeing it in its full sci-fi glory was overwhelming, and has absolutely dominated the conversation surrounding the film ever since. Now, thanks to the Infinity War trailer, we may have an idea of exactly why the Kingdom of Wakanda is just so advanced.

At the tail end of the Infinity War trailer, we see several members of the Avengers fighting alongside Black Panther and an army of Wakandans, as Thanos' minions try to invade the city. Considering that all of the Infinity Stones are accounted for up to this point except for one, this seems to suggest that Wakanda will be home to this final stone; the Soul Stone.

Considering that advertising for the film has made a point of showcasing a more ethereal side of the Black Panther-lore, such as T'Challa entering Djalia(a 'plane of Wakandan memory'), the Soul Stone makes perfect sense for a Kingdom of both great technological prowess and encompassing spiritualism.
