3. Matthew Vaughn Is Trying To Get Two More Kick-Ass Movies Into Production
Hell hath no fury like Matthew Vaughn trying to fix the Kick-Ass franchise. Which is to say, the British director - who helmed the original film - is reportedly trying to get a further two Kick-Ass movies off the ground, one of which is poised as a Hit-Girl prequel, apparently. Which doesn't make a lot of sense, of course, since Chloe Moretz is all grown up now. Still, here's what Vaughn currently has in mind, in his own words:
Were working on an idea for a prequel of how did Hit Girl and Big Daddy become Hit Girl and Big Daddy. If we make that, hopefully that will be the sorbet for the people that didnt like Kick-Ass 2 and then we can go off and make Kick-Ass 3. I think weve got to do this prequel to regain the love that we had.
Whatever happens, it can't be worse than Kick-Ass 2, can it?
