10 Movie Villains Who Weren't Really Bad

5. Predator - Predator Franchise

The hunter of apex killers, the Predator. Factually known as the Yautja, these trophy hunters traverse numerous planets to hunt game for glory, honor and entertainment. Hunting is at the core of their society, and also how they judge their status in their clan, requiring them to kill dangerous prey like the xenomorphs, or to more dangerous feats like 300 xenomorphs with only two Yautja able to participate. A lot of their customs are inhumane and primitive, but the code of conduct they adhere to in the hunt is respectable and honorable. When searching for their prey, they only seek those that are worthy of their attention. They consider it dishonorable to kill children, unarmed adults, and rare instances where the female prey is pregnant, and is therefore let go. The Yautja have also accepted humans into their clan to learn the ways of the Predator, showing that physical distinction is irrelevant, another example of how much they treasure their honor. Most of what the Yautja are is down right wrong, but at the same time, their beliefs in honor and glory is something to be admired.
