10 Movie Villains Who Will Kick Ass In 2019

5. Kevin Wendell Crumb (Glass)

Glass James McAvoy
Universal

It's supposed to be more fun for an actor to play a villain rather than a hero, and it's easy to see that James McAvoy is having an absolute blast playing Kevin Wendell Crumb and his many, many personalities.

A man with a severe case of Dissociative Identity Disorder, Kevin's body plays host to multiple unique personas, and it's truly a joy to watch McAvoy morph from a fashion-conscious effeminate male to a well-spoken strict old woman with a skill and grace that not many actors could pull off.

He's already shown he can deliver a knockout performance as this character in 2017's Split, but not only is Glass going to feature some of the personalities we met in that movie, it's going to include several new ones too, meaning McAvoy is going to have a bunch of new characters he can use to cause havoc for the movie's heroes.

One of his personalities - the flesh-eating, muscle-bound Beast - is an unnerving monster of a man, and watching him do battle with Bruce Willis' indestructible David Dunn is going to be a spectacular battle of wits and brute strength. Plus, since McAvoy can literally create any character he likes - scary, funny, cowardly, cunning, manipulative - there are no limits to the amount of ways Kevin can mess with other people's minds.

In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
