4. Tom Hanks - The Da Vinci Code
Quite simply, the most boring movie ever made. The whole thing essentially consists of Tom Hanks with awful hair and Audrey Tautou running around Paris, looking at iconic paintings and then reciting the Wikipedia article on said painting. Despite never being Tom Hanks' biggest fan, his performances in Road to Perdition and Philadelphia are excellent and exciting, but everything about this movie is just so droll. The film was doomed before day 1 of production due to the fact that the book of the same name is one of the worst ever published and actually unreadable and no matter how hard Ian McKellan tried, the movie just couldn't be saved. Even though everybody hated The Da Vinci Code, they went and made a sequel (or is it a prequel?) in Angels and Demons where Hanks resumed his role as the Harvard professor, only minus the daft hair. Many jokes have been cracked at the expense of The Da Vinci Code, and deservedly so, but the funniest thing about the film is the fact that Tom Hanks doesn't look embarrassed to be in it, because he should.
