10 Movies Great Actors Should Be Ashamed Of

2. Jack Nicholson - The Bucket List

BucketList-1sht-key Jack Nicholson shouldn't need an introduction to any visitor of a film website. A cultural icon, Nicholson has starred in some of the most iconic movies ever released such as Easy Rider, The Shining and Chinatown and he has worked with some of cinema's greatest directors including Stanley Kubrick, John Huston, Milos Forman and Martin Scorsese. In other words, he is a formidable screen presence who is rightly adored and acclaimed by millions, despite his recent tendencies to appear in some less than stellar material. By far the worst film Nicholson has ever been associated with is The Bucket List. Directed by Rob Reiner and co-starring Morgan Freeman, The Bucket List is meant to be a heartfelt portrayal of two men with cancer doing the things they always wanted to, but the end result is a crass and insensitive depiction of a serious illness. Nicholson's character is an appalling hedonist and has been afflicted with an overwhelming sense of self-importance. Nicholson has never been more unlikable and his decision to appear in this movie was a massive mis-judgment.
