10 Movies Ruined By Glaring Factual Inaccuracies
2. Die Another Day: You Cannot Replace Your DNA
If you need another reason to hate the worst James Bond movie, Die Another Day, it's main villain's backstory is utter bullcrap that flies in the face of science.
In the film's big reveal, it turns out that bad guy Gustav Graves is really a North Korean People's Army colonel who was thought long dead, but used DNA replacement therapy to disguise himself as a Caucasian.
Here's the problem with that: no matter how advanced medical science gets, they will never be able to replace a human being's DNA. It's in every solitary cell and is what makes a person who they are.
The facility in Die Another Day which offers this therapy could only be more ridiculous if it also offered brain transplants and gene-splicing with the animal of your choice.
