10 Movies Scenes That You Probably Fast-Forwarded As A Kid

5. When She Loved Me - Toy Story 2

A common thread that ties these kid-based fast-forwardings together seems to hinge on the fact that - as children - we might have perceived them as "boring" because they lacked action, were downbeat, or seemed to slow down the pace of the story. Lots of them also seem to divert from the "main" story - or at least might have appeared to from the perspective of a child. So here's a scene that obviously belongs in the movie, but used to be the worst. The scene in question casts an eye back on Jessie the cowgirls's life before she ended up in the hands of a toy collector. It's an incredibly touching sequence, backed by a beautiful Randy Newman track - "When She Loved Me" - and the whole thing adds lots of weight to the movie. Jessie was an annoying character for kids and adults alike, of course, but whereas children might have gotten bored with this scene, it's enough to make a full-grown adult cry.
