10 Movies Sylvester Stallone Should Have Taken A Bullet To The Head Rather Than Starring In

4. Spy Kids 3D

The Spy Kids films have pretty much all been terrible, and Spy Kids 3D is definitely one of the worst, again making us question how this came from the same guy who made Sin City and Desperado. Though it's clear that Stallone is trying to have some fun here and play down high tough-guy image after flops in previous years like D-Tox, the material just doesn't give him anything to work with, and the end result is, really, rather embarrassing, earning the actor the Razzie Award for Worst Actor. Playing silver-haired villain Sebastian the Toymaker as well as his three clones, the role had the potential to allow Stallone to prove his versatility, yet while the make-up is impressive and some of his mugging is fun, the role is sorely underwritten, and I came out wondering why Stallone and Robert Rodriguez didn't just team up on an action film instead.
