10 Movies That Actually Do Need A Remake

8. Howard The Duck - Seth Green, Stop Teasing Us!

Avatar Movie
Marvel

Three times! Three times Marvel has teased us with the appearance of Howard The Duck, so what do they expect from us? We're still grieving from a disastrous live-action attempt made in 1986... and most of us weren't even born at that point.

Suffice to say, it was bad, but now Marvel dares to not only tease Howard as a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but they had the audacity to cast non-other than Seth Green in the role?

While it may get annoying for Green, and anyone else over at Marvel with any involvement in the Howard cameos, to keep hearing "Where's the Howard The Duck movie?!", is entirely their own fault. They goaded and enticed us beyond belief and now we will not keep quiet until we get that remake!

But beyond just desperately craving a remake in any way shape or form, what should it actually entail?

While the original film focused heavily on the origin story of Howard, about his coming to earth etcetera etcetera, the MCU has already set the character up and so we wouldn't have to go through the yawn-inducing cliche of an origin story again.

A movie that takes place through the time-scale of the other movies would best fit the existential meta humour of the original comics. We could see Howard resigned to the chaos that is the universe he exists in, off to the side, getting up to his own thing while the galaxy implodes.
