10 Movies You Forgot Were Set At Christmas

4. Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension

Granted, the sixth - and for a while, final - entry into the Paranormal Activity franchise is a total dud of a "conclusion" to the hit horror series, and honestly, who besides the most die-hard fans has ever bothered watching it more than once?

And so, you couldn't be even remotely blamed for forgetting that this soulless dreck actually had a Christmas setting.

Indeed, the establishing scenes take place in late November and early December, showing the Fleege family preparing for Christmas by decorating their house, putting up their tree and... that's about it.

Given that Christmas has historically been an incredibly fun setting for horror movies, it's a shame that The Ghost Dimension does nothing even remotely remarkable or basically interesting with it.

Aside from a few demonic shenanigans - namely the angel being hurled from the top of the Christmas tree and a toy randomly playing Christmas songs - the setting is basically totally inconsequential here.
