10 New Year's Resolutions For 2013's Biggest Movie Characters
2. To Quit Bounty Hunting And Take Up Dressage - Django (Django Unchained)
After cutting a bloody swath through slave owners and their cronies, Django triumphed and saved the woman he loved - and in some style. When he wasn't dressing up like Austin Powers and intimidating white folk, he was being a complete badass and taking bounties like candy from a baby. With the help of the charming Dr. King Schultz he hunted criminals across a blood-soaked winter in 1858 and made some big bucks, and while that career path ended in tragedy for the good doctor, there's no reason that Django has to suffer the same fate. Sure he's good at the job but at the end of the film we witness another one of his many skills, that of dressage. The flowery art of making a horse dance may be less manly than shooting people for money but I'd imagine the risks are a lot lower. Now that he has his wife back and is looking to settle down, it's the perfect career move. Traveling and amazing people with his comical-looking equestrian antics would certainly make for an interesting sequel if nothing else. Quentin if you're reading this I'm interested in co-writing Django II: Horse Fandango, so please do give me a call.
