This is perhaps the biggest and most shocking Avengers: Age of Ultron rumour to date. It's not entirely clear how it will happen, but the final act of the sequel will apparently lead to such huge changes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that Captain America assembles a brand new team. There was at one point even talk of Captain Marvel possibly being included on the roster. Those who are believed to be in there for sure though are Cap, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, The Vision and The Falcon. We've already addressed Iron Man's possible absence, but what about Thor? Well, another rumour claims that he will return to Asgard and may not come back to Earth until Avengers: Infinity War. Either way, things are going to be drastically different moving forwards for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. It's worth noting that there's no mention of Hulk on that team either, so his status also remains unknown. Is Iron Man kicked off the team? Is this the team Captain America will lead into battle against Iron Man in Civil War? It's an intriguing rumour, that's for sure.
