Brett Ratner started out as a prolific music video director who worked with a range of acts from Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige to the Wu-Tang Clan. That's where he should have stayed. Despite being successful at the box office with movies like X-Men: The Last Stand and the Rush Hour trilogy, Ratner has never actually made a good film. That might sound harsh, but stop and think about that for a second. Some of his movies may be enjoyable to watch and of course that's really really important, but are they actually any good?
