10 Painfully Long Movie Marathons You Have To Do At Least Once

5. The Fast & The Furious - 959 Minutes

The Rock Fast And Furious 7

The Films: The Fast and the Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast and Furious, Fast Five, Fast and Furious 6, Furious 7 and The Fate of the Furious.

How Long?: 15 hours, 59 minutes.

Why You Have To Try It: Now we're getting to the point where you pretty much have to devote an entire waking day to watching the movies, but the Fast and Furious franchise is certainly a ride well worth taking.

It's also one of the most back-loaded marathons you're likely to attempt, because the first four movies all run around 100-ish minutes in length, while the mid-franchise blockbuster gear-shift resulted in the run-times getting seriously beefed up.

Thankfully only one of the eight movies is genuinely terrible - the miserable, self-serious fourth film, Fast and Furious - while the rest offer up enough variety and barmy car chases to largely maintain interest.

Things obviously pick up substantially once The Rock joins the fray in the game-changing Fast Five, but the first three movies are plenty fun too, regardless of what some people think of Tokyo Drift.

You'll probably want to watch something super boring and artistic once you've slogged through all eight of these movies in one sitting, but you'll certainly get a ton of bang for your buck.
