As fantastic as it is to see Spider-Man in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, this is the character everyone should really be looking forward to seeing - Norman Osborn has the potential to be a huge player in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe.

Norman Osborn is the Lex Luther of the Marvel Universe, a tactical, twisted genius driven to madness over his obsession with a superhero dressed in red and blue. He is Spider-Man’s greatest nemesis, responsible for so much misery inflicted in the webslinger’s life.

Nearly two years since the Breaking Bad finale and Bryan Cranston is still one of the hottest actors out there. His depiction of Walter White will go down in history as one of television’s greatest characters, and it’s those very qualities he showcased as Heisenberg that makes him the perfect choice for Norman Osborn.

The one criticism that seems to be a recurring theme in Marvel’s films is their villains (Loki aside of course) who have come across at times as plain, two-dimensional and just lacking any real motivation for their actions aside from ‘because I’m evil.’ Those are just words you can’t ever see attached to Bryan Cranston who is more than capable in bringing the Green Goblin back to our screens.
