Batman is one of the all-time great comic book characters. Created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, the Dark Knight has been striking fear into Gotham City’s criminals since debuting back in 1939. Along the way, Batman has become a wildly successful franchise marketed towards young and old alike. In recent years, his film or television appearances have been met with high anticipation and expectations.

Some Batman actors have received a wide range of fan and critical response. One such actor is Ben Affleck. His take on the Caped Crusader certainly isn’t the worst but it does lack the overwhelming fan support of Dark Knights such as Christian Bale and Michael Keaton. His Batman has also been victimized by less than stellar movies.

However, Affleck’s Batman provided a great warehouse fight scene in ‘Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’ (2016). He delivered an excellent performance as the gritty grizzled Dark Knight violently dispatched a gang of bad guys.
