10 Poor Versions Of Awesome Movie Characters With One Excellent Scene

2. James Bond

The Amazing Spider-Man Andrew Garfield

Super-spy James Bond is the creation of writer Ian Fleming, who penned the first Bond adventure back in 1953. Since then, Agent 007 has become a lucrative franchise that includes movies, comic books, and video games.

The movie franchise has included some great films such as Casino Royale, Goldeneye, and Goldfinger. They have included James Bond being played by some great actors such as Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery, and Daniel Craig. There have also been movies and Bond actors that were less than spectacular. George Lazenby as Bond in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969) fits that bill.

Lazenby’s awkward and uninspired portrayal of 007 did have one bright spot. His beach fight scene was great and very deserving of living up to the James Bond legacy. It also helped that Lazenby is a real-life tough guy with skills in the martial arts which lent credibility to the physical scene.
