10 Post-Credits Movie Scenes That Change Everything
6. Toretto Escapes - The Fast And The Furious

In 2015, a year that brought a new Star Wars and a sequel to The Avengers, the highest grossing superhero movie of all time, one of the most eagerly anticipated movies is Furious 7, the seventh movie in a series nobody imagined could even make it to the end of one. Now there's proof you really can't predict the movie industry with complete confidence.
A Point Break remake that only switched up the daredevil sport, The Fast And The Furious actually one-upped its inspiration with the post-credit reveal that Vin Diesel Tough Guy #2 managed to escape the police and make it down to Mexico. It may initially seem rather flat to remove the ambiguity of Dominic Toretto's escape, but in terms of giving the franchise legs it was a masterstroke. Had it not been included, the constantly forward momentum of the series might not have been maintained - he may be very monotone, but Dom is essential to the Furious films.
Coming before post-credit scenes were commonplace, it took a while for the series to pay this off - Diesel was all but absent from the franchise (bar a short cameo in Tokyo Drift) until the fourth film - but when it did that's when Fast And Furious gained its "guilty pleasure" status in so many critic's affections.
