10 Predictable Horror Movie Twists Everyone Saw Coming

Plot: A troubled writer, Mort Rainey (Johnny Depp), is stalked by a crazed man (John Tuturro) who claims that a story Mort wrote was plagiarised.

This early noughties psychological horror film has a good cast and some interesting ideas but it ultimately makes for mediocre and tedious viewing. The main reason for this? You'll guess that the stalker, named John Shooter, is a hallucination so early on and you'll just be waiting impatiently for the twist to drop for the rest of the film.

The twist of the split personality or imagined character has been done by many other psychological thrillers featuring disturbed lead characters, so many probably guessed this might happen as soon as they read the plot description.

And then, when the film shows Shooter showing up at odd times and only ever interacting with Mort, it put what many will have already worked out beyond any doubt. Fight Club this ain't.
