Few expected much out of 300: Rise of an Empire, given that it stank of a needless prequel solely made to cash-in on the success of the original film. Still, it proved to be a surprisingly entertaining effort, in large part due to Green's mental performance as Persia's naval commander Artemisia, and the one scene that nobody will ever forget is her gloriously brutal sex scene with protagonist Themistocles (Sullivan Stapleton). After inviting him onto her ship, Artemisia then seduces him in an effort to convince him to join her, leading to a rough-and-tumble sex scene in which each of them tries to dominate the other, both sexually and as representative of their battle stances. Themistocles takes charge first, ripping Artemisia's top off, giving us a gratifying close-up at Green's chest, before she turns the tables on him, riding him and giving him an opportunity to give her chest a nice squeeze. After Themistocles reveals he won't be changing sides, she draws her sword, all while still topless and apparently not giving a damn. It's one of the most ridiculous, sexy and down-right entertaining sex scenes in recent cinematic memory, because it actually has some bearing on the plot, and gives us a glimpse of Green at her most sexually intimidating. She's incredibly hot, but also super-scary.
