10 Reasons Ben Affleck Will Be An Awesome Batman

1. The Bat Voice Doesn't Matter

I'm Batman It amuses me how so many people are getting uppity over the fact that Ben Affleck's relatively soft natural voice doesn't seem particularly well suited for the signature "Batman growl" that Christian Bale pioneered. However, these are probably the very same people who couldn't stop complaining about how absurd Batman's voice sounded in the Dark Knight Trilogy, and how forced it seemed for Bats to growl constantly, even to people who knew that he was Bruce. After all, isn't it going to be pretty damn easy to work out who Batman is when Bruce is always walking around with strep throat? Anyway, Affleck's softer register won't serve him a problem as Bruce Wayne, yet admittedly, as Batman, he could struggle to muster the same intimidation factor. Still, the point is that this really doesn't matter; the Bat voice is stupid anyway, so why not have Batman wear a voice modulator like he should have in the TDK trilogy anyway? That way, Affleck's natural voice can simply be computer-enhanced in post-production to sound menacing and disguised from his regular Bruce voice, making everyone happy.
