10. Better Child Actors

The kids here are much better than in The Lost World in particular. The second movie tried it's best to include another child actor to rival Lex and Tim, but it didn't pay off. Instead things got a bit daft, with Vanessa swinging off a pole and kicking a Raptor through a window. This time things work out more successfully, both in terms of performance and general concept. Having kids in a film can always go one of two ways. Jurassic Park, The Exorcist and Poltergeist are all films which use the vulnerability of children to push us to the edge of our seats. Jurassic World's young characters may not prove to be as memorable as those mentioned above, but they performed an important function within the film, and the journey Zach went on in particular - from moody teen to protective sibling - was an enjoyable, heart-warming watch all-round.
