10 Reasons Suicide Squad Sucked More Than Batman V Superman

3. The Cast Aren't Juggled Well

Suicide Squad thrives on its immense ensemble cast, yet at the same time, the script doesn't make the best use of them, arguably over-emphasising Deadshot and Harley Quinn at the expense of other compelling but superficial characters such as Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney).

Characters often disappear and re-appear only when they're required for a quick quip, and it creates a messy, disjointed feel to the squad dynamic, rather than giving each Squad member their due to sell the team to audiences.

BvS of course benefits from being about half an hour longer, but it also features a far larger cast on the whole and seems to have a far firmer handle on balancing characters out. Sure, it's far from perfect, what with the ham-fisted Justice League cameos, but for the characters who really mattered, it gave them their fair shake, while SS squandered a lot of its cast's awesome potential.
