10 Reasons The Best Things About Star Wars AREN'T The Movies

1. The Books Have Better Writers

Certain parts of the fandom have started taking cues from the DCEU fandom and began fantasizing about the original version of TROS written by Colin Trevorrow known as Dual Of The Fates. But if you think his version would have been better, I advise you to go watch his previous film - The Book Of Henry.

Trust me, we dodged a bullet.

Besides, if you want the really good writing, you track down one of the current novels, all of which are written by some of the best science fiction and fantasy authors working right now. If you have a famous author in those genres, then chances are that they've worked on at least one Star Wars-related thing. And if they haven't, they soon will.

From Saladin Ahmed, to Chuck Wendig, to Delilah S. Dawson, Kevin Hearn, Rebecca Roanhorse, and so on so forth. They even brought back Timothy Zahn to continue Thrawn's story in the currently running Thrawn novels.

If you're not a book reader, then don't worry, because the Star Wars comics also got Chuck Wendig and even Jason Aaron of Thor fame. These writers being given such an expansive universe to play with is proof that the best things about Star Wars are not the movies.
