10 Reasons The Fantastic Four Looks Great

9. Well, It Is From The Makers Of Days Of Future Past

The trailer gets in quick with that. In fact, other than the confusing title €“ FANT4STIC €“ the only other credit you get in the trailer is €œFROM THE STUDIO WHO BROUGHT YOU X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST€. Fox are trying to dispel memories of their past mistakes and remind you of their more recent triumphs. Like Days Of Future Past. This is, after all, the studio that totally tanked the X-Men franchise for a while, thanks to a lacklustre third film in the original franchise and a couple of average-to-bad Wolverine movies. They also did those other Fantastic Four films, which didn't even reach the vertiginous heights of €œaverage€. But like, how good was Days Of Future Past? Really good, that's how good. Surprisingly good. Unfairly good. Whilst Sony flounder to keep up with Marvel, Fox seem to have finally settled into a groove in the new superhero cinema, if this trailer and X-Men are anything to go by.
