10 Reasons The X-Men Films Should Completely Reboot

9. More Astonishing Action

We€™ve seen the Avengers, Avatar, and other movies with mind blowing action. It€™s time to have that in an X-Men movie. I€™m talking about a nonstop, pedal to the floor, 20 minute final act of crap your pants action. This would impress upon everyone just how fun and amazing watching the X-Men in action can be, and it€™s not something the current franchise has been doing. They've been treating us to repeated sequences of mutants demonstrating their powers in mundane situations as opposed to high stakes fights. I can guess that Nightcrawler would brush his teeth with his tail, so that's not what you should be wasting screen time on. The X-Men are a team and should be fighting as a cohesive unit better than any other superhero outfit. They are supposed to train countless hours in the Danger Room to fight multiple enemies while rescuing civilians. All of the action in the movies thus far has taken place in secluded locations where each X-Men pairs off against one villain in a turn based fight sequence. Imagine if several X-Men fought even more villains at the same time and on the same screen. Instead we get Iceman versus Pyro, Juggernaut chasing Kitty, Beast with a spin kick, and Wolverine fighting as impressively as if he were in a Jason Statham movie.
