10 Reasons Zack Snyder Is The Worst Possible Director For Batman Vs. Superman Movie

Batman Superman It was recently announced at Comic-Con that the new film in the DC Cinematic Universe would continue its era of grimdark movies with Batman vs. Superman. Later they announced the hiring (or-re-hiring, if you will) of a less than reputable man - a man who has been riding on the coattails of his first film with mediocre movie after mediocre movie. Since we first heard about it, of course, this hiring has caused conflict within the realms of the comic book community... I'm talking, of course, about Zack Snyder, who is - without a doubt - the worst possible director for Batman Vs. Superman imaginable. Here's 10 reasons why...

10. Slow Motion

300 This is a no brainer: Snyder loves his slow motion. He used it in 300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch, and Legend of the Guardians. He even used a little bit in Dawn of the Dead - a zombie movie. In fact, the most surprising things about Man of Steel was in its lack of slow motion. However, with Christopher Nolan gone, you do have to worry about how much free reign Snyder will have with this sequel. You can just imagine Superman taking two whole minutes to punch Ben Affleck's Batman in the face or something. All kidding aside, this guy can't seem to a direct fight scenes without moving in and out of slow motion, and it's severely headache-inducing. Hopefully Snyder will find a way to reign in his favourite editing technique for Batman Vs. Superman. Still, why can't I get past the image of Batman being hurled through a glass window in slow mo?
