10 Recent Movie Sequels That Came Out Of Nowhere
1. Last Bullet
Lost Bullet was a 2020 French action flick which became a surprise hit on Netflix, enough that it spawned not one but two sequels.
Lost Bullet 2 landed in 2022 and was considered an improvement by some, but you couldn't be blamed for totally spacing on the fact that a threequel, Last Bullet, was released back in May.
A single trailer for the film dropped a few weeks before release, which didn't garner much chatter on social media, and Last Bullet still doesn't even have its own Wikipedia page, unlike its predecessors.
It was nevertheless praised by critics, though, and scored viewership similar to Lost Bullet 2, presumably due to Netflix's algorithm serving it to those who enjoyed the previous films, even if they likely didn't realise it was coming out until it was already released.
Despite the strong viewership, Last Bullet is indeed intended to be the final film in the series - in case the title didn't tip you off.
