10 Recent Movies That Were Sent Out To Die

Hands up if you even knew that Rebel Wilson had a new nuptial-themed action movie out recently.

Bride Hard wrapped shooting in August 2023 but spent almost 18 months on the shelf before being picked up for U.S. distribution by Magenta Light Studios - a new outfit without any hits to their name at all.

Ultimately Bride Hard was tossed into a handful of cinemas around the world in June and July - a number so small that its box office grosses were only scarcely reported.

To date the film has grossed less than $1 million globally - surely not enough to even cover its admittedly paltry marketing campaign. 

Considering that everything about this one screams "streaming movie," it's honestly surprising it wasn't just acquired by the likes of Netflix or Amazon Prime.

As for whether it's actually any good? It scored just 19% on Rotten Tomatoes, so not at all.
