5. Ice Road: Vengeance

Not a single soul could be blamed for failing to notice that a sequel to 2021's Liam Neeson-starring Netflix action flick The Ice Road was released this past June.

The sequel was quietly filmed last year without much fanfare, and when it came to the actual release, distributor Vertical decided to drop the number "2" from the title, renaming it to Ice Road: Vengeance, likely in an attempt to lure in folk who haven't seen - or don't remember they've seen - the original.

In a baffling move, the film's first trailer landed just four days before its small theatrical release - a release so small the box office grosses haven't even been reported. Sheesh.

Reviews were rightly scathing, and after only four days in cinemas Vertical kicked it to streaming, where it became just another of the many Liam Neeson action movie thumbnails on your platform of choice.

Needless to say, we're probably not getting a third Ice Road.
