10 Ridiculous Horror Movie Concepts That Shouldn't Work (But Do)

If you haven't heard of Society, then you may have at least seen a picture of someone's head emerging from a butt in such a way that suggests they're being passed through a bowel movement, but said face is actually attached at the edges instead. The butt-face man is Society's finest export, and comes at the climax of a film that isn't afraid to get real down and dirty with its messages. Evidently.

Brian Yuzna's directorial debut is focussed heavily on the metaphor of the social elite feeding off the lower classes, so much so that the infamous 'shunting' finale takes the whole thing quite literally. Society is a weird, trippy, unpleasant movie, and its culmination into an alien sex cult orgy... thing is perhaps the most bizarre thing to have made it from paper to screen.

In fact, the only reason Yuzna managed it was through owning the rights to the Re-Animator remake and doing a clever trade for a two picture deal. What a gift (?) he's given the world.
