Niece of Julia and daughter of Eric, Emma Roberts grew up spending a lot of her time on and around film sets. The Hollywood upbringing seems to have paid off, with the young beauty (or Pretty Woman) starting to make a name for herself on the big screen. You probably first noticed Roberts in the 2010 film It's Kind Of A Funny Story, playing a psychiatric patient in the comedy-drama which also starred Zach Galifianakis. Or perhaps even further back in Noel Clarke's 4.3.2.1. The twenty-three year old has appeared in a multitude of roles spanning the last decade, her career slowly progressing every time. Roberts charm seems to reside in her ability to bring an honesty and likeability factor to the roles she plays. Adept at both comedic and serious roles, Roberts was a recurring character in the fourth season of FX's American Horror Story. Her biggest role to date however was playing young-tearaway-turned-international-drug-smuggler in the 2013 comedy We're The Millers. The R-rated riot took over $260 million at the box-office and pitted Roberts against comedy heavyweights Jason Sudeikis, Ed Helms and, eh, Jennifer Aniston. Roberts flourished in the role, bringing hilarity and sincerity whenever it was called for. More importantly though, she played a star role in a flick which made back over eight times its budget. Expect to see Roberts in many more high profile roles from here on in.
