The most violent young woman in film. That is what people should say about Chloe Grace Moretz. The seventeen-year-old has already spilled more blood on the big screen than Schwarzenegger and Stallone combined. And to think that she started out as the sweet little sister in (500) Days of Summer. Where did it all go wrong, Chloe? Kick-Ass was the start of it. Moretz played foul-mouthed crime-fighter Hit-Girl in a hilarious yet heartening performance that made sure she would stay in our memories for a long time. She then showed herself to be a lot more than a one hit wonder, her performance in Let Me In (the remake of Let the Right One In) a measured and haunting piece for someone of her youthful years. Moretz then returned to kick more a** in Kick-A** 2 before turning her hand to horror. She also played the lead role in 2013's remake of Carrie, a brave challenge for any young actress. Moretz is without doubt a star of the future. She has an eye for the dramatic and the delivery for comedy. With four films due for release this year alone and a wealth of experience behind her, Moretz is already a seasoned pro, one that will only get better.
