In many ways, Emma Watson really is Hermione Granger, both on and off screen, what with almost quitting the franchise to focus on her school work, returning to education once the series had ended and becoming a UN Women Global Goodwill Ambassador are very Hermione things to do.
What Hermione would never do however is be photographed holding a drink up to her lips whilst underage, which is exactly what 15-year old Emma Watson did in 2006.
The photo did the rounds again in 2010 after comments 20-year old Ms Watson made to Vogue in which she stated that she didn't drink in her first year at Brown university out of respect for America's law prohibiting under 21s.
In response to people questioning why she adhered to America's drinking restrictions and not the UK's. Emma explained that she was posing as a joke and wasn't actually drinking in the photo.
