10 Scenes In The Dark Knight Trilogy That Should Have Been Cut

7. Bat Sonic Device - Batman Begins

Batman Begins is a good film; it was a great start for the trilogy, a fantastic re-imagining of the Batman films and had a massive effect on superhero films. Older Batman films were a lot more comical and contained more fantasy; with wacky cars, weird gadgets and some pretty benign villains. Batman Begins scraps all of this. There's one scene however, where it becomes a bit too surreal. Batman needs to get the poisoned Rachel Dawes back to the bat cave to give her the antidote. However, the building is surrounded by police officers ready to capture him. Batman thinks of a plan to distract the police by using his handy bat sonic sound remote to attract bats towards him. This means that Jim Gordon can carry Rachel down to the tumbler and Batman can...jump down and meet them there. Wouldn't it have been easier just to get Gordon to go back down to the police and say that Batman was nowhere to be found? Even if they searched the building Batman's a wizard when it comes to hiding so surely he could have hid them in a corner for a minute before saving Rachel whilst also not having to use a stupid and unrealistic gadget.
