10 Scenes That Could Have Been Cut From Zack Snyder's Justice League

3. Martian Manhunter Finale

Justice League

In the very, very, very last unnecessary scene, Martian Manhunter makes himself known to Bruce Wayne. The Martian informs Gotham's protector that he will assist him in the future if another calamity threatens the world.

This climax has multiple problems. This scene was shot four years after the original film so Ben Affleck is noticeably older. Although Martian Manhunter is one of the most compassionate superheroes, this scene makes him come across as inconsiderate.

He knew of the conflict the Justice League were about to face but chose not to help. On top of that, we don’t need to know more superheroes are joining the team. Bruce Wayne and Diana already implied it when they spoke about creating a big round table with six chairs in the Hall of Justice “with room for more”.

Imagine if Ant-Man showed up in the last scene of the Avengers. Imagine if Captain Marvel popped up in the last few seconds of Age of Ultron (as she was supposed to.) We know the sequel is going to have more heroes joining so we don’t need it shoved down our face.
