10 Sci-Fi Movie Villains That Had Totally Lame Deaths

5. The Fallen - Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen

From a franchise that is largely viewed as a complete and utter stinker by most moviegoers - bar the ludicrously fun and engaging Bumblebee - Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen stands out as the absolute worst entry in Michael Bay's oft-lambasted Transformers series.

This is a film slammed by its stars, slammed by its producers, and even shot down by Bay himself as not being any good. That's not even taking into account the general consensus of fans and critics, who likewise panned this second outing for this big-screen Transformers franchise.

Brimming with sexism, racial stereotyping, an awful story, and a mish-mash of CGI components that made so much of its action undecipherable, Revenge of the Fallen still somehow managed to take home over $800 million at the global box office.

At the centre of this tale, of course, is the titular Fallen. An all-powerful villain who is the founding father of the nefarious Decepticons, this uber-rogue is easily dispatched of by a boosted Optimus Prime at the close of the movie - a Prime who just punches right through the Fallen's chest.

For a character positioned as one of the most powerful beings to ever be in existence, the Fallen's death was very much like Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - flat, disappointing, and utterly anticlimactic for those TF fans who'd been anticipating seeing this legendary villain brought to big-screen life.
