10 Sequels To Classic Movies You Had No Idea Existed
10. Look Whats Happened To Rosemarys Baby
Rosemarys Baby is a landmark horror film from 1967, directed by Roman Polanski and starring Mia Farrow as a woman who gives birth to the Devils baby. Naturally Polanski and Farrow are nowhere to be found for this TV sequel, which follows a grown up baby Adrian as he begins to realise his true destiny. Even fans of Rosemarys Baby are shocked to learn that a sequel exists, but a quick look at the film itself reveals why nobody remembers it. It contains none of the atmosphere or clammy tension of Polanski's film, the story is dull and confusing and it cant even be viewed as a So bad its good guilty pleasure. It's just an ordinary kind of bad. The only cast member to return was Ruth Gordon, who won an Oscar for her performance as Rosemarys creepy neighbour in the original, and even she seems bored by the sub-Omen shenanigans that pass for a plot. The films only memorable moment is its most ridiculous, as Rosemary herself (played by Patty Duke this time) checks out of the story early, as she is driven away in a driverless, demonically possessed bus.
