1. Alvin And The Chipmunks 4
Despite being based on a kids tv show that started in the 1950s, never having a big name star attached, and getting widely and viciously panned by critics, the Alvin And The Chipmunks film franchise has taken over $1.1 billion at the box office in just three outings. That's almost level with Jason Bourne. While parents the world over might have hoped for suffienct closure in 2011's Alvin And The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, an as yet untitled 4th instalment will be arriving at cinemas just in time for Christmas on December 23rd. What wonders will be contained within can only be speculated upon, but Van Wilder director Walt Becker is already attached to the project and Randi Mayem Singer, the brains behind Mrs Doubtfire, will be penning the script. Are you excited for these sequels, or are you hankering for some original ideas?
