10 Shocking (But Believable) Theories About Batman V Superman
6. The Stress Of Superman Causes Luthor To Lose His Hair Over The Course Of Several Movies
When we got our first glimpse of Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor in an episode of Entertainment Weekly, he was bald. And then, along comes the trailer and suddenly Luthor has lots and lots of hair. This, of course, prompted everyone to speculate as to why we'd been treated to two different visual incarnations of Superman's iconic arch-nemesis. There are several theories surrounding Luthor and his hair loss, one of which suggests that he will lose it whilst messing around with Kryptonite in Batman V Superman, whilst another claims that Luthor will shave it off himself to promote a new era for LexCorp at the very end of the movie - goodbye tech geek, hello slightly demented uber-businessman guy. The most interesting theory of the bunch, however, is the one that suggests that Lex Luthor will slowly lose his hair over the course of several movies - something of a physical character arc, if you will. The reason? His frequent battles with Superman and the resulting stress of trying to defeat the Man of Steel, of course. Given that we've never seen this approach to Lex Luthor's baldness, this would be a highly interesting avenue to take.
