7. The Joker Will Appear In A Murderous Flashback

As far as anyone knows, Jared Leto - who is set to play the Joker in Suicide Squad - isn't supposed to appear in Batman V Superman at all. And yet recent theories have come out of the woodwork suggesting that he may appear in a brief flashback scene. Now, this does have all the makings of "wild speculation," but when you consider the circumstances - and tortured mindset of Ben Affleck's superhero - it doesn't seem entirely impossible to picture a scene of this sort winding up in the film. The rumoured scene, which was reportedly added into the movie at the last minute, is supposed to depict the Joker kicking Batman's sidekick, Robin (or Jason Todd), to death. And given that the trailer has already confirmed the appearance of a damaged Robin suit and the existence of at least one flashback (we see a young Bruce Wayne and his parents at one point in the latest trailer), there's certainly room for a debate on its inclusion. The one issue with this is that it might feel like "much too much," given the already packed out nature of Batman V Superman. Still, given the studio's intent to build a cinematic universe as quickly as possible, you can imagine them teasing Leto's villain in this way.
